Wine 1:2007 Delta Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand, Malborough)

Delta Vineyard
這美好的一切,起源於義大利。Matt Thomson前往北義大利參與1994年份的釀酒工作,並自那時起他每年都在釀製期間重返北義。也就是在義大利,Matt與David Gleave相遇。David是倫敦的高級紅酒進口商。在數年來於義大利往來各個酒莊的長途車程中,Matt與David鉅細靡遺的討論了在紐西蘭Marlborough所栽植出黑皮諾的潛力。德達酒莊(Delta Vineyard)的葡萄園坐落於布冷漢(Blenheim)以西,就在1848年康士坦丁‧狄倫(Constantine Dillon)開墾的德達農莊之內。由於這整塊地的形狀很接近希臘字母"Δ(Delta)",因此便根據其地形上的特色為之命名。

仔細研究了這個酒廠後,發現他們家好像Pinot Noir比較好耶...(因為網頁的介紹都以Pinot Noir為主),在台灣是由酒堡代理進口

Wine 2:2002 Lenoble Rose (France, Champagne)
Lenoble ROSE MILLESIME is one of the very rare Rosés to combine elegance with the richness of red fruit aromas. The secret is a unique, highly original blend of 85% Chardonnay Grand Cru and 15% Pinot Noir Premier Cru vinified as a red wine. Made only in the years when Mother Nature has been generous enough to offer grapes in a very healthy state, our ROSE is always a vintage champagne. Ample and rounded, it is only very lightly dosed, at around 6 g/l. Delicate salmon-pink robe, fine bubbles, light, delicate foam. Ample, red fruit aroma. Fruity and well balanced. Nice freshness followed by rounder notes of red fruits. Excellent length. Pure and clean in mouth thanks to the high and unique proportion of Chardonnay and the very light dosage.

AR Lenoble
懶得完整翻譯酒廠介紹,大致上是說AR Lenoble是由一位阿爾薩斯的酒商Armand-Raphaël Graser 1915年搬到香檳區建立酒廠的故事。據說是長榮代理的,但是在他們的網頁上沒看到就是了...

Wine 3:2006 Joseph Drouhin (France, Beaujolais Village)
The Beaujolais area, although part of greater Burgundy, is very distinct on many accounts. The villages have a different look : instead of slate, the houses have roofs made of red tiles reminiscent of Provence and the Mediterranean world. The soil, too, is pink granite (and not limestone as in Côte-d`Or). This is where the Gamay grape is king. The type of pruning used in Beaujolais is called "gobelet" : no wires between the vines ; each plant grows by itself, independently from the others. Maison Joseph DROUHIN has always been deeply involved with the Beaujolais region and was indeed a pioneer when, in the early fifties, they were the first to bottle and ship Beaujolais Nouveau. As for Beaujolais Villages, it is a careful selection of various "terroirs" and micro-climates, all contributing to make this wine synonymous with charm and conviviality. It has a bright purple colour, a very intense nose, reminiscent of violets, peonies and red berries. On the palate, it has a silky smoothness, and its delicious fruit lingers for a long time. Beaujolais Villages is very versatile with all kinds of food, especially simple and flavourful dishes such as hors-d`oeuvre, charcuterie and white meats.

Maison Joseph Drouhin
Joseph Drouhin自1880年起便再Bourgogne展開釀酒事業,到目前為止已傳到第四代了!早期Joseph Drouhin的葡萄園僅限於Beaune伯恩丘週遭的村莊,1968年北推至Chablis地區的特級葡萄園。此外Joseph Drouhin也是P.F.V.(Premium Familiae Vini)11個家族之一。(最近常看到這個名字...挺有趣的!)在台灣由星坊代理

Wine 4:1997 Brunello Di Montalcino, Poggio Antico (Italy, Brunello)

The 1980 Brunello di Montalcino was the first wine in Italy to obtain the D.O.C.G. appellation (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita - controlled and guaranteed from the origin). The D.O.C.G. is the most prestigious classification of wine in Italy. As a result, only specialized and authorized vineyards can produce Brunello di Montalcino and a series of rules regarding production must be observed.
Four years of total aging are required for Brunello. For more than a century Brunello was aged three of these four years in wood, but as from the 1995 vintage this requirement was reduced to two years. Nevertheless, at Poggio Antico we continue to respect the traditional method for our classic Brunello, keeping it three years in large oak barrels.
Brunello must be produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes and a minimum of 12.5% alcohol by volume is required. Total acidity cannot be lower than five parts per thousand. At Poggio Antico the alcohol content, total acidity, and dry extract always reach optimum levels, thanks to low yields and the favorable geographical position of its vineyards.
Poggio Antico's Brunello di Montalcino is typically deep and intense ruby red in color. The bouquet is well developed and persistent, and increases in intensity with further bottle aging. It has a very clean nose, with hints of blackberry and licorice. In the mouth it is rounded and concentrated, with great vitality, yet elegant and harmonious, thanks to the particularly sweet tannins. It has a very long finish and ages gracefully under proper conditions.

Paggio Antico
Poggio Antico is located in Montalcino, a small town in Tuscany about fifty kilometers south of Siena. The earliest written records of the estate date from the beginning of the 19th century, when the present boundaries were marked. At that time, the estate consisted of woodland, grassland, and three stone houses. The development of Poggio Antico started in the late 1970s, when electricity was brought in, vineyards were planted, and construction of the wine cellar began.
The estate was purchased in 1984 by Giancarlo and Nuccia Gloder, originally from Milan, who had fallen in love with the wines of Montalcino and the unique geographical position of Poggio Antico. They had become enchanted with the beauty of this particular area of Tuscany after purchasing a smaller property in the area with olive groves and woods, but no vineyards.
Their youngest daughter, Paola, has managed Poggio Antico since 1987. Her husband, Alberto Montefiori, joined her in this task in 1998. Claudio Ferretti supervises the cellar and the vineyards, and Lia Rocchi is responsible for the warehouse. 這瓶酒是在大同買的,但我也不認為是大同代理的囉!

Wine 5:2005 De Toren Fusion 5 (South Africa, Stellenbosch)

Intensive purple/black in colour with satin rim. Sweet ripe fruits with the freshness of rose petals that open up to an earthiness, sweet sugars, cinnamon and liquorish that talks to different parts of the palate at the same time. Black fruits, cherries, peach and caramel is well integrated to create a classic but muscular style that lingers long after consumed and entices you to take another sip almost immediately.
Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 57%, Merlot 14%, Malbec 14%, Cab Franc 11%, Petit Verdot 4%
